Providers are organizations that deliver public mental health services and/or programs. BMHS oversees public mental health system providers who participate in the statewide fee-for-service system as well as providers that are awarded grant funding through contracts for services not reimbursable by Medicaid.

Provider Spotlight/ New Programs

BMHS partnered with the Mental Health Association of Maryland to promote Mental Health First Aid, which is a public education program with the goal of increasing mental health literacy among the general population. Thirty individuals from 14 agencies were trained in mid-October, with the expectation that these agencies would develop strategies to bring the training to their staff and communities.

Wraparound Maryland is the City's Care Management Entity, which provides care coordination and wraparound services for children and their families.
