Providers are organizations that deliver public mental health services and/or programs. BMHS oversees public mental health system providers who participate in the statewide fee-for-service system as well as providers that are awarded grant funding through contracts for services not reimbursable by Medicaid.

Provider Spotlight/ New Programs

     
  • BMHS partnered with the Mental Health Association of Maryland to promote Mental Health First Aid, which is a public education program with the goal of increasing mental health literacy among the general population. Thirty individuals from 14 agencies were trained in mid-October, with the expectation that these agencies would develop strategies to bring the training to their staff and communities.

  • Wraparound Maryland is the City's Care Management Entity, which provides care coordination and wraparound services for children and their families.
