Policy: Award and Monitoring of Grants/Contract for Non-Medicaid Eligible PRP/RRP Consumers
Purpose:
In compliance with the Mental Hygiene Administration (MHA) to provide funding through grants/contracts to Psychiatric Rehabilitation (PRP) for services to certain non-medicaid eligible consumers, BMHS will perform the following procedures:
Procedures:
1. The Director of Adult Services will make available contracts to certain PRPs (vendor) in accordance with each vendors service history as determined by MHA. The contracts will be in agreement between the vendor and BMHS.
2. Each vendor will be expected to provide the minimum number of necessary PRP/RRP services to the number of individuals specified in the contract as documented through Maryland Health Partners (MHP).,
3. Each individual receiving services must meet the eligibility standards for the service(s) provided.
4. Within 30 days of receipt of reports that document service utilizations generated by MHP for MHA, the Director of Adult Services will review such reports to determine that each vendor has provided the required number of services. A recommendation will be made to MHA for subsequent payments to the vendor.
